This reminded my first lost survivor D: I was pulling some groups near the Tower of Strenght, so I had my heroes flagged a little back to be sure everything is under control. After everything had been killed, I ran forward and bah, I was dead. Yeah, I forgot to unflag the heroes and ran straight into wurm siege, out of the healer's range...

I wasn't THAT far into survivor but I did park a toon in a "safe spot" and left the computer alone. My ten year old came by and did a little running around and managed to get me killed.

I killed both of my boyfriend's survivors D=
1) One night, I had a dream his Paragon no longer was Survivor. I told him that, and he went to check. Right, no longer Survivor. Don't ask me how. It's magic!
2) His Necromancer was almost Legendary Survivor, but I teamed up with him for Dzagunur Bastion HM. We were okay until we reached the Elementalist boss. I was going to shout across the room, "Watch out, that Ele boss is super strong!" but I stopped myself because I thought "Oh, he probably knows that anyway".
Nope. BAM ONE HIT DEATH.
He's working on a Rit Survivor now, and I refuse to team up with him no matter how much he says it will be OK.

Ouch, thats a bit annoying.
Anyway i gave my necro a fitting end to the survivor track after i got legendary, UW on hm without armor and only frenzy used, 2040 damage is a nice way to end that track.

Forgetting that you had flagged your party so you could pull a mob and dying because of it? Yeah that's always fun for me... -_-

Out of redundant boredom, I decided to follow some dude out to keg farming (prior to the nerf) and was going to shadowstep in once the mob was balled up. It sounded so great in theory...
After a couple times, I said what the hell, lets do it agian. 4 hours later, a few dozen scrolls and green rock candy and I had Legendary Survivor.

Doing Bloodstone Caves with my paragon, I through caution to the wind and the human monk lagged right as our frontliners decided not to be frontliners.

The stupidest way that I lost survivor was the time when I first started brawling. In the training area, where you fight the 3 groups of norn, I run up to the first norn and punch him. The norn turns around and punches me and, at the same time, my computer suddenly restarts. (My video driver had been acting up recently and Guild Wars combat occasionally caused the driver to crash, even though GW was specifically stated to be a supported game for that driver.) It took me three minutes to get GW up and running again, which was plenty of time for that FIRST norn in the TRAINING AREA to kill me. >.<

For some reason, I just have a hard time believing this. 700 xp away from Survivor, in a zone, and you just couldn't wait 5 more minutes for a bowl of cereal? Really?

Wasn't quite legendary but I lost my tier2 survivor doing the Ring of Fire mission during lunchbreak at work. After killing the Eidolon I volunteered to run back to the Seer with the Spectral Essence to complete the bonus.
As I waddled through the pool of magma along the way, the boss picked the worst possible time to pop into the office, as bosses tend to do... I hastily hit R in an attempt to save my poor ranger and minimized, silently praying that he ran himself safely to shore as I stared blankly at the spreadsheet before me.
Of course upon returning to the game I found the charred corpse of my ranger sprawled a couple feet away from solid ground
